One of the debates that seems to go on forever is the value of original content, versus PLR content, versus duplicate content, versus newsfeeds. A lot of changes occurred on the Internet over last 10 years. You see one of the great advantages of a blob is original content, when the great disadvantages of a blob is original content. Google has taken on a major role regards the subject. Their has always been a battle between the search engines and the marketers.

Clearly many of the changes are for the good, as today the search engines contain mostly very relevant information. this definitely was not the case 10 years ago many marketers including myself spent a huge amount of time analyzing search engines and spamming them. Often totally irrelevant keywords were used to draw traffic. you see in the old days off page optimization was not used, all that mattered was key word density, meta tags, header, title, image tags, than most important hidden keywords that only the search engines would say and human eyes would not.

This whole duplicate content issue is mainly a counterattack on marketers who discovered the power automation. There’s been a behind the scenes cloak and dagger game going on for many years between the Black Hat (Gray Hat) marketers and the search engine’s. The search engines want to provide relative information to their customers, most marketers are only interested in selling products. Yes targeted traffic converts the best, the key word here is best. However with certain products totally random traffic converts at a low percentage. Marketers know this to be true, that’s why we have junk mail, than junk fax, then spam email.

And now we have news feeds. This is something I haven’t had a lot of experience with that I′m going to be investigating over coming months. So I was at a site where there was some interesting content and they said just pace this code on your page and you’ll poll some of our articles. So I post code below and we’ll see if in fact they provide good content in exchange for a link. If it just a big sales pitch I will remove the code. and since I can come back and edit the posts I can use his page to insert new codes from different sites and test them out. So this page will just be used to post interesting information I find that may be of value to my readers, is not with the Internet is about.

Well it seems the code just appears in text form, so I will have to go and post page and if I can get it working. For all I know you can’t post that can code in a Word Press page. Some of the trials when you play with new things, new to word press new to I frame.

UPDATE — Well discovered two things, the code works on a normal HTML page but not in a Word Press posts, and all the code did was lists four links to articles (full of self promoting links) on the persons site. So I gather not many people use his code as all that is happening is you promote his site.

Thing is the article is very dated, I would say about 1999, but he says 2003 or so, maybe years behind the times not sure. It so happens I was promoting some Casinos back in those days.
